Welcome to Cleveland County Sanitary District’s new program for applying for water service. If you are applying for a new address from the Planning Department of Cleveland County, you can pick up a package to apply for a new tap, and can mail all information to our office. Before applying for a water meter, you will need to have already applied and been granted a permit for a septic tank. Once meter is set, billing will begin.
When filling out application, all highlighted areas on contract need to be filled in and Cross Connection Survey needs to be completed. Please mail packet back to us in the brown pre-addressed envelope with information listed below in yellow. Once we receive the application and payment, the blue flag will need to be in place so that all utilities can locate their lines and we will know were to set water tap. If blue flag is not out, this will delay setting of your water tap. Once we receive information and process application, the yellow copies plus a receipt of payment will be mailed back to you.
